Study groups for each of the following courses are available for Quad City Chapter #50 if members are interested.
ITC Introduction to Construction
Introduction to Construction covers the fundamentals of the construction processes, procedures, and technology, providing the student with an overview of the industry.
No Continuing Education Units are awarded for this course. There is also no certification nor test.
CIT Construction Industry Technician
This course covers one textbook. Certification is earned upon passing a test.
This course is an overview of the construction industry and its processes. The curriculum includes types of construction, construction trade associations, forms of business ownership, contractual arrangements and contract agreements, the construction process and construction insurance and bonding
CDS Construction Document Specialist
This course covers two separate textbooks. Certification is earned upon passing a test on both.
This course includes the following

Introduction to construction estimating and scheduling
Certification is earned upon passing a test
CCA Certified Construction Association
This course covers six separate textbooks. Certification is earned upon passing a test on all six.
